NewsCodes Change Request Form

IPTC maintains a set of Descriptive Metadata NewsCodes including Media Topics, Genre, Scene Code and World Region, for each of them additional terms or changes can be proposed.

1. A Change Request should be submitted by using the web form below.
2. The IPTC NewsCodes Working Party will review the proposal and if they fit into the vocabulary it will be applied.
3. A modified NewsCodes vocabulary will be published after the change.
